In the Filter Settings tab, please select the Event option for the Content Type setting.

In the Display Settings tab, please select the Show Custom Fields checkbox, then select relevant custom fields to show event info:

Here are some of custom fields:

_VenueVenue, _VenueAddress, _VenueCity, _VenueCountry,

Show event info

It is easy to show event info with 2 simple steps:

• In the Filter Settings tab, please select the Event option for the Content Type setting.
• In the Display Settings tab, please select the Show Custom Fields checkbox, then select relevant custom fields to show event info:
  

Sort events by date of the event

To sort events by date, in the Filter Settings tab, select Sort by checkbox, then select _event_start_date as the key of the custom field to sort:

Event Organiser uses taxonomy to manage venue.
To show venue of event:

• In Display Settings >> Fields Settings, please select the checkbox:
  Show Meta Fields (Taxonomy, Author, Date, Comment)
• Under Display Settings >> Fields Settings >> Meta Fields, select the checkbox Show Taxonomies (Categories, Tags…), then select the option: Let me choose, then select the option Venues from the list:

To make recurring events publicly queryable, please add this code to file functions.php in the theme’s folder (or install this plugin Code Snippets then add this code to the “Code” textarea):

add_filter( 'em_cp_event_recurring_public', '__return_true' );
add_filter( 'em_cp_event_recurring_publicly_queryable', '__return_true' );

Then in a View, you can select “Recurring Events” as option of “Content Type” to show recurring events.

Here are steps:

• In Advance group, select the Custom Fields checkbox
• In “Filter by Custom Fields” section, click Add New button, then select options as below:

You might do the same settings with other event plugins.

Notice: since version 6.0, The Events Calendar Pro plugin changed the way its store event information. And above settings might not work with recurring events. Please contact us here to get a custom code solution for that case.
