It means that you can update new version of Content Views Pro with a single click, from your WordPress Admin dashboard. This post will cover the steps to update, the problems (and solutions) you may encounter when update Content Views Pro.<\/p>\n<h1 id=\"step1\">I. Problems and Solutions<\/h1>\n<p>If you can&#8217;t update Pro version, see the error messages <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2802\" style=\"display: none;\" src=\"https:\/\/contentviewspro.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/update-fail.png\" alt=\"update-fail\" width=\"131\" height=\"45\">, there are some possible reasons:<\/p>\n<p><strong>1. You are using localhost server<\/strong><br \/>\n=&gt; We don&#8217;t offer updates for localhost, but we do offer updates for test\/developing\/staging site. Please upload your local site to a web hosting server, using one of following prefix <code>test. dev. staging. local.<\/code> for its domain.<\/p>\n<p><strong>2. You have not added your license key to Content Views &gt;&gt; Settings page<\/strong><br \/>\n=&gt; Please do step 1 in above <a href=\"#step1\">Update steps<\/a> section.<\/p>\n<p><strong>3. Your license key is invalid<\/strong><br \/>\n=&gt; Please recheck your license key. You can <a href=\"\/\/www.contentviewspro.com\/retrieve-license\/\">retrieve your license key here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>4. Your license key is expired<\/strong><br \/>\n=&gt; Please renew your license key to get updates of Content Views Pro for additional year. You can find the link to renew your license key in 2 ways:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>click the <strong>License Details<\/strong> link in the Content Views &gt;&gt; Settings page:<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-1579\" src=\"https:\/\/contentviewspro.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Content-Views-Settings-\u2039-check-license-details.png\" alt=\"\" width=\"639\" height=\"220\" srcset=\"https:\/\/contentviewspro.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Content-Views-Settings-\u2039-check-license-details.png 639w, https:\/\/contentviewspro.com\/documentation\/wp-content\/uploads\/2017\/05\/Content-Views-Settings-\u2039-check-license-details-300x103.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/><\/li>\n<li>visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.contentviewspro.com\/license-key-info\/\">license info page<\/a>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>5. Your license key is activated in more than allowed sites<\/strong><br \/>\n=&gt; You can find the list of active sites of your license <a href=\"https:\/\/www.contentviewspro.com\/license-key-info\/\">in this page<\/a>.<br \/>\nTo removing a site from the list, please deactivate Content Views Pro there.<br \/>\nIf you deleted that site before deactivating Content Views Pro, please <a href=\"https:\/\/www.contentviewspro.com\/contact\/\">contact us here<\/a>, so we can remove it for you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>6. That is a temporary issue.<\/strong><br \/>\n=&gt; Sometimes the automatic update fails for some reason.<br \/>\nPlease try to update again after 12 to 24 hours.<\/p>\n<p><strong>7. None of above reasons apply.
