1. In the Filter Settings tab, the Advance section, select the first checkbox Taxonomy (Categories, Tags…)
2. Select the taxonomies you want to get posts from, for example: Categories.
3. In the Select Terms field, select the specific categories you want to get posts from.

Then Content Views will filter and display the posts from specific categories that you selected.

With this feature, you can show posts which publish today, yesterday, this week, custom date, time range… easily without coding.

About This week option, Content Views Pro will show all published posts from week start to week end. The week start can be selected in the Week Starts On setting in the WordPress Settings >> General page:

Content Views Pro improves the sorting feature with more options:

To enable sorting, in Filter Settings tab, in Advance section, select the Sort by checkbox.
Then select the sort option you want to use.

You can sort by common options, and one/many custom fields.

To sort by custom fields, under Sort by > Custom Fields, click the Add New button, then:

• select your custom field in “Field Key”
• change the “Value Type” if needed (for example: change to Date if your custom field is a date, change to Number if your custom field is an integer, etc.)
• change “Order” to Descending if you want to sort the list in reverse order

[Notice] Sorting by Drag & Drop:
– NOT work with Shuffle Filter, Live Filter, Replace Layout, Pagination (load more, infinite scrolling).
– work with Grid, Scrollable list and Collapsible list.
– work with (Ajax) Numbered pagination and Normal pagination.

Here are steps to sort content by drag & drop:

• select Sort by in Filter Settings > Advance
• select the Drag & Drop option
• click Show Preview (or Update Preview) button
• in the Preview panel, drag & drop items as you want
• click Save button when finish sorting

Notice:

If you added specific post ids in the “Include Only” field, you can drag & drop the IDs in the “Include Only” field directly. Posts will be displayed in that order without enabling “Sort By”.

Customize Pagination Color

• With Content Views Pro, you can change style (color, background color, font…) of pagination without writing custom CSS, using options in the “Style Settings” tab (click to read more).
