This feature is only available in the Pro version.

Content Views Pro will help you to show posts in all languages by WPML (or Polylang) plugin in your WordPress site easily.
You only need to create one View to show content in ALL languages.

For example, your content is available in 3 languages: English (default), Spanish, Russian. And you want to show some posts in an English page (this page has translation pages in Spanish, Russian).

Please do simple steps below:

• Click Content Views > Add New to add new View, or edit an existing View
• In admin toolbar at top of the page, switch to the default language:
  
  (mouse over the language bar, click the default language)

  For WordPress.com Business users, the WPML language bar (until version 4.0.6) doesn’t show at top. To switch to the default language, please append
  &language=CODE
  to the end of current URL, then press Enter.
  With CODE is the code of default language in the WPML languages table.

• Adjust View settings to filter and show posts in your desired way
• Save the View
• Paste the View shortcode to the page of the default language, and all of its translation pages.

What if you used a post order plugin (for example: Post Types Order, Simple Custom Post Order, Intuitive Custom Post Order) to manually sort posts, then want to apply that order in Content Views?
That is easy. Please enable the sort feature in the View, then select Menu Order option:

To start translating Content Views (Pro), please follow these steps:
1. Go to WPML > Theme and plugins localization select Translate the theme and plugins using WPML's String Translation and click Save

2. Scroll down to Strings in the plugins section, tick Content Views and Content Views Pro, then click button Scan the selected plugins for strings.

3. Reload current page to get updated info. Click on button View strings that need translation of Content Views (or Content Views Pro).

4. All the plugin text will be visible on the list. Enter the string you want to translate into Search for text field, then click Search button. Click on the translations link to translate text string.

Finally, tick Translation is complete and click Save after translating.

Notice: Above code requires your knowledge of PHP.
Also, the view should NOT enable Live Filter or any kind of other filters, it should use default Filter Settings.

Set language for a View

• In the admin Content Views > All Views page, mouse over the View which you want to set language, click Edit Language:
  
• It will navigate you to a page, where you can select language of the View. After finishing, please click the Update button.

Add translation of a View

For example, you have a View in English, now you want to create the same purpose View in Deutsch, please follow these steps:

• In the admin Content Views > All Views page, click on the plus “+” icon to add a translation of a View:
  
• Enter the title of the translation View, then click Publish button:
  
• Then click the button:
  [Content Views] Filter Posts Now

Notice: This step and below step are required. If not, the translation View won’t be created successfully.

• It will navigate to the View settings page, change settings to filter content in new language, then click the Save button:

If you want to use a third-party lightbox, please:

• install a lightbox plugin you want
• disable the lightbox in the View (not select the lightbox option in Display Settings >> Others >> Open Item In)

Some lightbox plugins will work with images in our grid/list automatically.

Some other lightbox plugins need manual configuration. The most popular configuration is adding HTML attribute to images. If so, please add this code to file functions.php in the theme’s folder:
